In October 2018, Aimee’s mom inspired her to use her autoimmune life experiences and learned knowledge paired with her love for others to launch the Autoimmune Sisters instagram account. In October 2019, this website was launched to provide resources via our Autoimmune Disease pages, a blog of Autoimmune Posts written by our incredible team of women with autoimmune disease, quarterly webinars, monthly newsletter and so much more.
Autoimmune Sisters is an international community that provides resources, support and community to all women with Autoimmune Disease. Autoimmune Sisters welcomes all women that are diagnosed with an autoimmune disease or undiagnosed and looking for support.

Autoimmune Sisters vision is to be the #1 community for women with autoimmune disease.
- To provide resources, support and community that provides a loving, safe and caring environment for all women that join Autoimmune Sisters.
- To provide a country and state ambassador in every country in the world and for every state within the US. For that ambassador to provide resources, support and community to the women that find Autoimmune Sisters.

Aimee is a Jesus-believing, walking in faith Christian that loves her family and loves leading Autoimmune Sisters.
She lives in Virginia with her husband, their 3 amazing pre-teens and their 2 Labrador Retrievers.
Aimee’s day days are full of travel soccer, updating their home for future renters and enjoying everything there is to see and do in Northern Virginia + Washington, DC.

Madison is passionate about health, fitness, and Jesus. She has had autoimmune symptoms nearly her entire life, but was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease back in 2016.
Madison began to blog as a way to connect with, and encourage others going through similar struggles, and have now joined the Autoimmune Sisters team to continue her outreach.
She loves this community and enjoys offering her experience with Crohn’s as a resource to others on their health journeys.
Madison also runs an anti-inflammatory food blog called Clean Cuisine with Aimee Harris Niedosik.

Kristin lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and could not love her city more. She also loves the state of Michigan and strives to advocate, promote, and recognize everything the Mitten state has to offer. She is a digital marketer by day and by night – a writer – a digital junkie – and a freelancer. She strives to eat and drink locally whenever possible, and is an avid reader. Kristin is married to the world’s greatest husband, and mom to two sweet boy kitties. She is also addicted to Instagram, iced chai lattes, and Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate bars.

Christina is a Registered Nurse, Functional Nutrition Coach and the owner and founder of Live Well with Christina, a holistic health and nutrition coaching practice specializing in serving clients with chronic autoimmune disease. She helps people take control of their health through diet, lifestyle shifts and personal empowerment. She is a dinner party enthusiast and fermented foods lover who just wants to eat, drink and live well!

Lauren is a freelance writer/editor-for-hire and the creator of an unabashed lifestyle blog about all things midlife. She is also a mother, wife, sister, friend, trauma survivor, autoimmune fighter, and all-around wellness warrior who lives in yoga pants, thinks zucchini is the best vegetable ever, and never leaves home without under eye concealer, her cell phone, a reusable aluminum water bottle, and an elastic hair band around her wrist. In short, she’s a strong, emboldened, middle-aged woman with a lot to say about living your strongest, healthiest, best life.
Kelsey is a wife, proud dog mom, and chemist living with Crohn’s Disease since 2011. She is passionate about research, learning how to heal IBD, encouraging others to be their own advocate, and sharing insight, tips, and tricks to survive and thrive with IBD on her blog.
Ashley is a wife and mom to two young boys. She is living with Psoriatic Arthritis and was most recently diagnosed with Lyme disease. Ashley is currently working on her certification as a Health Coach. She works with women living with autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses. Jenn supports busy, health-mind professionals in taking back control of their health by giving them access to the right lab tests and resources so they can find the missing pieces of their health puzzle. Using over a decade of personal training experience, she creates personalized health-rebuilding programs for clients that are realistic and sustainable for long-lasting results, and that empower clients to be the boss of their own health.
Kate hails from Australia and is always cooking something. Since being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, it’s 99% Paleo + Anti-Inflammatory, and always gluten free. When she manages to delay the first bite and take pictures, she posts on Instagram Stories. She also writes frankly about life with autoimmune disease.
Jessica is an Autoimmune Health Coach and Detox Educator. Jessica deeply believes that we all have the capability to heal once we remove the things that harm our body and add back the nourishment we need. She works with women all over the US on how to align their diet, lifestyle and environment to support their healing process.
Lucia loves to travel and explore new parts of the world, which brought her to Sweden, all the way from sunny South Africa. Sheis a functional health coach in training and the founder of Alight with Healing. As a fellow autoimmune warrior herself, she knows how challenging it can be to do life and manage a chronic disease. Her journey with Crohn’s disease and AIP has led her to partner with autoimmune warriors so they can find what makes them thrive with chronic illness.
